“NOTHING IN SCIENCE HAS ANY VALUE TO SOCIETY IF IT IS NOT COMMUNICATED” ANNE ROE

Our oceans are well-studied and known to face huge issues, yet surveys show that less than half of the UK public have seen or heard of these topics.

Our expertise is in communication, community engagement and outreach to wide and diverse audiences of all ages, using the sciences of mind and brain to appeal to the values, beliefs and motivators that influence decision-making.

We draw upon our heritage as an island nation with strong links to the ocean and a proud maritime history.

We are key members of EMSEA (European Marine Science Educators Association) and partner with leading academic institutions, scientists and government agencies such as NERC (Natural Environment Research Council), Institute of Physics, Defra (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs), Marine Biological Association, Scottish Association for Marine Science, National Oceanography Centre, Society for Underwater Technology, Association for Science Education, ProSea, World Cetacean Alliance and many more. In addition we train and mentor staff and individuals to deliver really effective environmental communication.
