The DVLA Code Challenge was for pupils across Wales in primary schools and community centres to work in teams and design a computer game, with budding programmers developing their coding abilities in a fun and engaging way.
Incredible Oceans selected plastic pollution - and the result was astounding. In 2017 three of the five finalists presented the Incredible Oceans theme of plastic pollution and it was the most popular theme chosen by the participating schools.
It is extremely positive to see that the next generation was well informed, seeing the oceans as both a source of inspiration but also of concern. Congratulations to the DVLA Code Club for devising this competition and event and to all the schools who took part.
